The Dramatic Aidan

Today after school Aidan took me by the hand and led me to the steep hill behind the school so we could find the area that he slid on with his knee during recess. He found the area and pretended to slide with his knee down the hill . . . I can only think that he thought it would be a great "replay". So I complimented his slide and we started walking back up the hill. Only then he found the "real" spot. So he performed for me again. Again I complimented him. And again, we started back up the hill. Where he found the "real real" spot. This is a picture of the "real" spot.

Fall is Here!

Finally . . . we can all rest a little knowing that we won't face 100+ degrees for a bit. I'm hoping that my yard turns green before winter just so I can see a bit of green. It started out green but then 70+ days of 100+ weather quickly killed any hope of a green yard. Boys are in third and fifth grade. Sid is playing guitar and Aidan is playing drums. They are both in gifted and talented classes at school and are doing well.
